How do you reset maintenance light, reset service light indicator Ford Trucks E-Series. For reset maintenance light and that can be made manually by use button on car dash board.

Reset service light indicator, engine oil life Ford Trucks E-Series, oil reset instructions:

2009-2010

Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
Press and release the SELECT/RESET stem to display “OIL LIFE = XXX% HOLD RESET = NEW”.
Press and hold the SELECT/RESET stem for 2 seconds and release. Oil life is set to XX% and “OIL LIFE SET TO XX%” is displayed.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

1995-2002
Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).
Press and hold the button located under the speedometer.
Switch ignition off and release button. Message OIL appears in the display.
Press MINUTE button of digital clock or button for setting analog clock only as long as 5 dashes appears in display.
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.
